Unlike most record labels, we look forward to receiving packages from bands. If you are contemplating sending us a package, there are a few things you ought to keep in mind:

Please be patient. It can take time. We will listen to everything that crosses our desk. Call to make sure we received the package, and we will get back to you.

You can help if you provide a cover letter: tell us what it is you are looking for and write a paragraph or two about your goals and what you think sets your band apart. If you have a press kit, include it. Same for photos. Please include your contact information in the package and on the CD itself.

What kind of music are we looking for? The easy answer is - the good stuff. A quick glance at our current roster will tell you that we ignore genre boundaries. If the music is there, whatever "genre" it happens to be, we're interested.

Due to cost restrictions, everything sent to Fifth Column becomes our property, unless you'd like to enclose a self-addressed, stamped return envelope - and even then, no promises.
